Among the variants with the fancy mouthpiece inserted directly into the briar, the #223 shape is certainly among the rarest.
It can only be found in Castello production and in small quantities.
#223 is a straight bottle, an evolution of the classic bottle, of which it maintains the spherical vessel and the slender attachment of the barrel.
The edge of the stove is wavy. It was introduced for the first time in 1972, again in a rather limited series; To date, three variants of small, medium and large sizes are known, produced over the course of thirty years.
However, there are no limitations regarding the variety of finishes.
