Talamona's Incontro series was created to offer pipes with a unique character, capable of combining the renowned quality of briar from Varese with an extremely functional and modern design. As per Talamona tradition, the pipe is entirely rough-hewn and finished by hand, making each piece unique and unrepeatable.

"Nosewarmer" Format and Stand-up Base

The architecture of this model is fascinating and ingenious. It is a classic Dublin shape, characterized by a conical bowl that concentrates the tobacco's aromas, but reinterpreted in an ultra-compact format: the so-called "Nosewarmer". The shank and mouthpiece are deliberately very short, minimizing leverage and weight on the teeth; this makes it a very comfortable pipe to hold in the mouth hands-free (perfect for those who smoke while working or walking). Completing the technical masterpiece is the expertly flattened bottom of the bowl: the pipe is Stand-up, meaning it can remain in perfect balance on its own on any flat surface.

Smooth Finish and Pure Briar

The smooth finish reveals the beauty of Italian briar, enhancing soft, warm grains with classic, natural tones. The very short and comfortable saddle mouthpiece is made of black methacrylate, ensuring durability and ease of cleaning, and connects flawlessly to the stubby and robust shank.
