This Christmas Pipe continues the 12-year theme of “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King” that started in 2011 and will end in 2022. It is inspired by the characters of the children's book "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King" by the German author Ernst Theodor Amadeus Hoffmann and by the famous ballet "The Nutcracker" by the Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. This is the 8th pipe in the series and represents "The Seven-Headed Mouse King", a central scene in the story. The pipe is an elegant Canadian group 4 (4109) in Cumberland finish with a smooth and flat rim. It is finished with a 15 mm silver ferrule engraved with the inscription 2018. The solid silver pipe cleaner is 60 mm long and represents the Seven-Headed Mouse King in meticulous detail. The Christmas Pipe and its pipe cleaner are presented in an elegant leather bound book in blue and red with gold trim to represent the Nutcracker's uniform.
