The color of this rum, aged for 8 years in American ex-Bourbon oak barrels, reflects the richness of the extraordinary 2007 vintage. Its hue is a combination of gold and copper. It has an alcohol by volume of 42%.
TASTING NOTES
Notes of small citrus fruits and chocolate emerge on the nose. After a brief oxygenation, hints of coffee are perceived, followed by cooked fruit, pine resin and sugar. On the palate it is sweet, with coffee notes prevailing. Just before the finish there are hints of red fruits, bitter orange and hazelnuts. The finish is characterized by a light bitterness and tannins.
