The Big Peat Christmas Edition 2022 is the twelfth release in this Christmas-themed Big Peats series. The famous blended malt, bottled as a special edition by independent bottler Douglas Laing, is made from (among others) Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bowmore and Port Ellen. 

This 2022 edition was bottled at 54% alcohol, cold unfiltered and with no added colourings. 

Nose: powerful with a hint of fresh sea breeze, caramel and of course peat smoke

Palate: malty with rich earthy aromas, oak, marshmallow sweetness and fresh winter soot

The final: along with more peat smoke and some sweet influences
