Pre-owned Peterson Silver Cup X220 Irish Pipe Smooth - Bent Billiard with Wind Cap (Fishtail)

A Museum Piece: Peterson Silver Cup X220 (Restored)

This magnificent pipe is a true rarity for collectors of the Irish brand. The Silver Cup series represents one of the highest expressions of Peterson craftsmanship, created to offer the most demanding smokers a luxurious and protected smoking experience. This specimen, carefully restored and sanitized (Restored Pipe), offers a unique opportunity to own a piece of Dublin manufacturing history in excellent aesthetic condition.

The Exclusive Silver Windcap

The main feature that makes this pipe so coveted is the refined hinged windcap mounted on the rim of the bowl. Made of solid metal with silver details, it is designed to protect the tobacco from gusts of wind during outdoor smokes, preventing ash from flying away. The lid opens and closes with mechanical precision, lending the pipe a charm from another era.

Shape X220 (Bent Billiard) and Flame Grain Briar

The architecture of the model is based on the imposing Shape X220, a classic Bent Billiard with generous and muscular proportions, featuring a large bowl and a sturdy, bent shank. The briar boasts a smooth finish of exceptional quality, with a spectacular "Flame Grain" that wraps around the entire body of the pipe, enhanced by a warm, amber stain. Connecting the prized black ebonite mouthpiece (equipped with a classic Fishtail bit) is an elegant silver band, finely engraved with the inscription "Peterson's Dublin".
