The historical charm of 1978. Produced in the very early years after the founding of Mastro de Paja, this pipe represents the roots of the glorious Pesaro artisanal school. Collectors know well that broken-in pipes from this era possess an inestimable added value: the briar, having rested, breathed, and worked for nearly fifty years, has by now lost all traces of moisture and tannins, ensuring smokes of a sweetness and roundness that new wood cannot match.

Bent Billiard shape: perfect balance. The pipe sports a Bent Billiard shape, a great timeless classic. The elegant angle of the shank and mouthpiece offers extraordinary balance, allowing it to be held comfortably between the teeth without any strain on the jaw.
