Big Peat celebrates its 15th anniversary with a special limited edition. This Blended Malt Scotch Whisky from Islay is distinguished by a predominant maturation in red wine casks and has an alcohol content of 50% Vol.
The design, labeling and packaging were specially created for the 15th anniversary, with a global distribution limited to 3000 cases. It undergoes neither artificial coloring nor cold filtration.
Tasting Notes
- Nose : Warm earthy notes are perceived, dominated by smoke, accompanied by hints of black berries, vanilla and butterscotch.
- Palate : Flavors of fruit, toffee, dark chocolate and a light hint of hazelnut emerge.
- Finish : Long and lingering, with baking spices and a dry peat smoke that envelops the palate.
