Specially created to celebrate the 4th year of the new 12-year cycle in the Chinese calendar, the Limited Edition Year of the Rabbit Pipes are the fourth in a series of pipes representing the Chinese zodiac signs.

This year's pipe is a classic Quarter-Bent pear shape in group 4 (4427) in Cumberland and Shell Briar finishes with a Cumberland saddle mouthpiece and hand cut marbled Vulcanite with the famous 'White Spot'.

Each pipe features a 10mm sterling silver ferrule engraved with the zodiac sign of a rabbit and is supplied with a specially produced ultra soft terracotta cowhide leather case which is not available otherwise.

This edition is nominally limited to just 230 pieces worldwide in the Cumberland finish and 230 pieces in the Black Shell Briar finish. Since all numbers containing the figure "4" have been excluded ("4" stands for death in various Asian countries), only 189 finishing pipes are actually made, of which only 188 pieces will be offered for sale.
