The name Naga Rum draws inspiration from the "Naga", mythological creatures depicted as snake-men in Hindu, Buddhist and Vedic culture. Produced in Indonesia, this rum uses local sugar cane and is distilled in the north of the island of Java, following a traditional processing method.

The fermentation of the molasses occurs slowly and is enriched by the addition of Javanese red rice yeast. Naga Rum is a blend obtained from distillates produced both in ancient "Pot Stills" and in columns. After distillation, the rum undergoes an initial refinement in local wooden barrels called "Jatti", followed by further aging in ex-Bourbon barrels.

The distillate goes through five stages of column distillation and ages for ten years in barrels that have previously contained Bourbon. Thanks to this long maturation process, Naga Rum develops aromas of brown sugar, spicy and woody notes. Its taste is rounded, with distinct hints of spices and candied fruit, offering a rich and complex tasting experience.
