Original Don Papa but in a new guise, the Baroko shows all his personality and his distinctive character thanks to a full and exuberant taste, just like the figure of Papa Isio, revolutionary hero and shaman of the island of Nigros, in the Philippines, remembered for his wars to conquer the island independence. Sweeter and less dry than Rum Don Papa 7 Years, Baroko is made from 'black gold' molasses and is aged for years in ex-Bourbon barrels, on the slopes of Mount Kanlaon, to obtain a round and rich taste , with great verve!
Slightly amber yellow in color, very bright, the nose opens up an explosion of aromas ranging from vanilla berries to citrus peel, then sweeter tones of mango and coconut, combined with slightly smoky tones of candy and creme brulée. Round, rich, warm taste, reminiscent of candied tropical fruit and vanilla cream without ever being cloying because, secondly, comes the freshness of the lime. The finish is long and crackling, from which raisins and dates also emerge, together with an echo of toasted wood.
Excellent to drink smooth, with ice or for your favorite cocktail!

Al palato: Assaggio rotondo, ricco, caldo, ricorda la frutta tropicale candita e la crema di vaniglia senza mai essere stucchevole perchè, in seconda battuta, arriva la freschezza del lime.
Al naso: al naso apre un’esplosione di aromi che vanno dalle bacche di vaniglia alle scorze d’agrume, poi toni più dolci di mango e cocco, uniti a toni leggermente affumicati di caramella e creme brulée.
Finale: Finale lungo e scoppiettante dal quale emergono anche uvetta e datteri, insieme ad un’eco di legni tostati.
Invecchiamento: 7 anni
