HINOTORI 5 years Blended Japanese Whiskey 70cl

Small Japanese Hinotori distillery founded in 1949; launched this limited edition whiskey for its 70th birthday. It is produced on the island of Honshu ( the largest island of Japan); it is a blend of grain and malt, aged in American oak (white oak) barrels, then bottled without chill filtration and without colorants.

Hinotori is Japanese for "phoenix", hence the illustration on the bottle and box of this whisky.

AROMATIC NOTES

Nose: fresh malted barley, dried fruit.

Taste: toasted hazelnuts, vanilla; with a persistent but fresh finish.

Alcohol content: 43%
