The Talamona brand was born in the 70s as the result of the work of Cesare Talamona, a renowned artisan from Oltrona (VA), who helped make the craftsmanship of Lake Varese known to the world with his “Pipatt”. Talamona immediately established itself abroad as a brand thanks to its creativity and the generous dimensions of its pipes.

Once Cesare retired from the market at the venerable age of 85, not wanting to cease his work of “high Italian craftsmanship,” he wisely decided to entrust everything to Paolo Croci, who purchased the brand in 2007 and, since 2010, has begun limited production of pieces respecting the wishes of Cesare Talamona.

Even today, the pipes are of high quality, entirely handmade, and generously sized. In Talamona pipes, it is always possible to recognize Paolo’s flair and creative touch.

As it was for Cesare, it is also true for Paolo that “every pipe has a soul, and whoever buys it finds themselves.”
